This was the first sunset of 2010. This breathtaking sunset is what I saw before this. Lovely isn't it? I'm going here next weekend with some friends and I'm hoping the sunset is just as beautiful. Yey for summer!

My World Has Love

This cross was hanging outside the house we were shooting at a couple of weeks back. Engraved on it is part of one of my favorite bible quotations on love.

 "Love is patient. Love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always preserves." - 1 Corinthians 13:4-7

Missing The Beach

I miss the beach..... I've been bitten by the beach bug again because I keep seeing people posting their beach trip photo albums on Facebook and I am JEALOUS!!! I'm in need of a good tan. Can't wait for next weekend, we'll be going to the beach for a friend's birthday celebration. Time to start cramming the diet and exercise! Sun, sand and sea... I'm coming!!

Skywatch Friday is A Tower

Sharing another photo I took during the photoshoot last week. This is actually part of the clubhouse in the village we were shooting in. It caught my eye because it reminded me of those abandoned castles you read about in fairytales. I'm half expecting a damsel in distress to peek out through one of the broken panes. Yeah, I know, I've been watching too much movies!

hello little doggie

Our shoot last week was taken at this beach resort that hasn't been completed yet. We met this sweet little puppy and decided to name her Coco (name chosen by our super fabulous photographer, Darren Tieste). She loved playing with us but was pretty picky when it came to food. She only liked chicken. I wanted to bring her home but I knew my mom would freak out if I brought home another puppy.

I find this picture just too funny. This little boy started freaking out when he saw the clown mascot and his dad is just there laughing at him. I know I shouldn't laugh but it really is funny, right?? Or am I just being mean? When I was a little girl, I was never afraid of mascots, in fact, I always loved playing with them. Were you ever afraid of mascots or clowns?

I took pictures during my godson's birthday party and I realized I really enjoyed taking pictures of people too and trying to catch moments and emotions. Although can anybody give me tips on settings or techniques to taking shots of people without the shot getting blurred?

Skywatch Friday is Lomofied

I was playing around again with my iPhone during one of our photoshoots last Tuesday. Love the lomo effect and the shadows. Those lanterns hanging from the tree are made out of capiz shells, which are mother-of-pearl shells that are used in Filipino furniture, windows and lanterns.

Midweek Drinks

Everyone has their own favorite watering hole. Ours is a placed called Bugsy's. It's located minutes away from our office (located at the corner of Sedeno street), the food is yummy, drinks are affordable and the waiters are so accommodating. If ever you find yourself there, buy the Buffalo Tenders! Super yummy. As for drinks, you HAVE to try Burn, Bugsy, Burn. Trust me, it's a good one!

Needing To Breath

Work has been cuh-raaaaazy! All my accounts have major projects set to launch all at the same time. My life has been work, work, work. You know that feeling when you just need to step back and breath? I'm feeling that right now.

So anyway, I wanted to take the time to upload a photo from Florence before work starts again tomorrow and drive me nuts.
